The collaboration between AVES Reality GmbH and AVL List GmbH marks a significant step forward for both companies in the development of virtual testing and the advancement of autonomous driving functions. By combining their respective expertise, both companies are creating an innovative offering that sets new standards in vehicle validation.
AVES Reality contributes its cutting-edge technology for efficiently generating HD maps and digital 3D twins from satellite images, which form the basis for precise simulation applications in Hardware-in-the-Loop (H-i-L) and Software-in-the-Loop (S-i-L) tests. These generated simulation environments are crucial for the accurate, cost- and time-efficient virtual validation of future vehicle generations. AVL enhances this approach with advanced software tools, extensive integration know-how, and years of experience in automotive engineering for the verification & validation (V&V) of automated driving functions. Together, they aim to efficiently support the development and validation process of autonomous driving functions in customer projects.
